Asuna dived into the underworld and met 2 girls from sword academy who asked if she is a goddess and said she had saved them and kirito. Asuna, once heard kirito's name, asked them to bring her to him. They brought her to the horse carriage, she went in and saw kirito who was sitting in a wheelchair n in a non-responsive / stupor state. He had lost one of his arms. Asuna called out his name, kirito responded in groans n moans. Tears started flowing and dripping down his cheeks. Asuna cried and told him to stop. She made a decision to protect the underworld that kirito loved against all foes, even it's the RATH

Now what I want to know is the scene where kirito recovered and saw asuna for the first time in the UW
