When I encounter that problem, I try to create 1 extra frame of animation before and after my original animation. Those extra frames are duplicates of the original animated layers but slightly tweaked to be different (
e.g. moved 1 pixel to the left or rotated 1 degree etc). Then when I resize the sig, I pray that the out of sync frame is one of the extra layers, which I can then delete to keep the animation smooth.
