It depends of the fan I think, but it happens with some of the Nanoha fans too. Speaking of fanfiction, probably your average Nanoha fan will just consider NanoFate and sometimes SubaTea as well in their fics as a plot device or as something central if it's about romance, while sometimes you may read a fic made by someone proclaimed as a "yuri fan" and find 3 or 4 yuri couples from this series at the same time. But it's not like that happens too often and with everyone who likes the genre, but personally this is something that I don't like because it seems forced (even if the series makes you think that everyone is a lesbian xD)
(Some people says that Caro is too little and is still confused with Erio xD)
