So Kazuya's father is also an artificial lifeform (which means Kazuya and Gengo are not blood-related)? This would also mean Kazuya has a high amount of stigmata tissue, right? And do we know what happened to the four sisters and Ryuuichi?

When the Twelfth Nova Clash seemed to be a lost cause, Chiffon's sisters were awakened from their long slumber and called into action. They laid waste to the Nova army (yes, a whole army of Novas, five hundred in fact), and Windy personally killed their commander. In the latest chapters, they're chaperoning Kazuya for a "day in town" so to speak.

As for Ryuuichi, he and his wife were both killed when Kazuya was very small, possibly in the Seventh Nova Clash (2053). Even worse, his mother was scared of him at first proclaiming "that monster is not my child." Needless to say Kazuya didn't take it well, not at all. Hope this helps.
