Not as strong as how the first season started... While action isn't the series' strongest point, it certainly felt better back then. The comedy didn't have the same punch as well- Sloppy is what I would call it.
But I think the one thing that bugs me the most was how the new 'villains' were introduced; How many people here had read fan fictions about mysterious shadowy figures that appeared out of nowhere with chuunibyou-esque titles while acting all smug and then curbstopping the good guys with minimum effort and then leave?
Well, at least the production seem good.
