I know I'm trying to use a bit too much logic for Bleach...but it's still kidnapping and false imprisonment, it's easy enough to recognize fear, which she ignored for a long time and caused severe psychological damage.
She may have been repenting for it before she met Mr. Rapeface, but that's still something pretty major to be overlooked.
