Liked episode 1 a lot. Ichika is a very likable male lead, Houki is not bad at all considering she is the tsundere lead, Cecilia is the typical oujo-type with an excess of ego, but she is cute in her own way.
Something that surprised me is the amount of female side characters, each one with more or less well-defined design and voice. I liked the one wearing cat pajamas during lunch.
Mecha combat looks solid, fast paced and nicely animated. Can't wait for the Ichika vs Cecilia duel next week.
OP is great, both video and song. ED song is simply ok and the video is boring, I guess other characters will be added later as the anime progesses.
