Well don't forget; a lot of people were watching the fight between Luffy and Ceasar. One seen even had one of the viewers pointing out that it was clear that the strawhats and Law had formed an alliance... so that's how news of their alliance may have been leaked. Its also possible that Doflamingo leaked the story himself to cause Law some trouble over his actions.
