Yes, this is separate from the three Achiga OVA episodes already announced (the first of which will air in December). Not sure what the schedule for the other two OVA episodes are yet, but this is a new TV series. I am guessing it'll probably be another 1-cour season for now, but that doesn't mean it won't be continued later.
