More to it than just knowing about or watching undead movies I think.
As you may know there is a great deal of detail in this series especially with things like equipment used which I think is where a great deal of research went into.
And since I'm guessing the military will end up playing a bigger role the further we get into it, more research needed.
Altho I'm sure
some of that time away from the series wasn't spent on "research".
