Are we certain? No, not certain. It's only been 1 episode. However, all signs from the OP & ED suggest that they will be the primary male characters. IIRC, they're the only males who appear alone during the OP plus they appear several times during the segment.
Is it possible to change routes halfway through the series? I don't know the game, but it seems out of character for this type of series to twist like that.
