Well, episode 2 did not disappoint. I'm not too sure what to think, but this really isn't bad at all. Although premise is simple and the mixing of genres is a little weird, the actual quality makes you want to watch more. I just hope the Priestesses will throw a few more punches and kicks in future fights.
Spoiler:
- So the elder turtle woke up - seems he's been watching over the big bad's seal
- Urin is really tiny, damn.
- Lol, Kanon:"I understand, but I am not interested in girls."
- OH LAWD, KANON'S MOM IS HOT.
- The fight scene was well done, although I am not a big fan of "strictly beam spam".
- Also, her outfit isn't any different. I am disappoint.
- So, Kanon is the priestess of the sky. I was expecting TITTAYS but seems the scrawny rage machine has no sex appeal. I can see why she was dumped. I'm kidding, of course :V
- So we get water and fire. Fitting for the corresponding personalities :V
- I'm wondering if a possible sequel will include a Priestess of the Forest/Mountains so we get Earth/Air respectively...
- So Marin purifies the baddie with the power of love. Seriously, this girl throws herself at people a little too often. She's going to give someone the wrong impression someday (or rather, already has).
- Preview: From Kanon's "We probably won't meet again." to Marin's "Hey guys, what's going on?"
The whole "sea people on land" and semi-"magical girlfriend" scenario is enough to sucker me in, so for the summer this looks like a keeper. They really could have cut back on the Elder Turtle's speech on the big bad. I hope there's some Action-ey tracks in this anime - music would have really made more of an impact if there was.
