i have to agree with almost everything negative that has been said about Eden. i'll try to expand on some things and throw my nasty 2 cents in...

these comments come from ppl who dont trust others and arent into analyzing themselves.
you know, some ppl actually can give a prognosis of wherther they'll like shows or not and they will come true in 90% of the number of shows. its a matter of knowing when the reviewer is more or less objective or a fanboy and knowing what you like and dislike.

Spoiler for series + movie 1: 1) amnesia. while i dont hate the trope, like roriconfan, Eden made me. i mean why would someone do that to themselves? and why would someone do that twice? and even if it ws reasonable, why stop there? 3rd time wouldnt hurt. 2) animation. ok for TV series, but definitely not ok for a movie. there was a scene in the movie when the camera froze on one of the neets and it was just a picture hanging there for 3 sec with no obvious speacial meaning. i started thinking there was smth wrong with my computer...kara no kyoukai anyone? 3) the movie was boring. nothing really interesting happened, the pace was slow. Saki really has no place in Eden, as someone already mentioned, but without her it would have been even more boring. 4) almighty Juiz. wow, just wow, what a great little plot device that is just so outrageously unbelievable. this i hated more than the amnesia. 5) savior. makes it sound like Japan was enslaved by another country. the whole saving game is rediculous. give someone 10 billion yen and whoila! the country is saved.
