History:
One day, a mysterious attack sent Kana to the hospital. She had lost all memory of the past, as well most of her muscle memory. Whenever she talked, she did so slowly as if remembering how to do so. Many minor movements exhausted her and she spent most of her time asleep. Even so, her sister visited her often, trying to catch her when she was awake. When she did, she talked with Kana often, trying to awaken her memory. However, these attempts met with failure.
As time went by, Kana managed to stay awake more often and for longer periods of time. She started to practice her movements when she could, needing to concentrate on every movement she made. She was trying hard for the girl who visited her often, who although Kana didn't know very well, was very kind to her.
Eventually Kana had managed standing, and it took many days after that until she was capable of walking. By around 3 months, she had a relatively normal sleeping schedule and was able to perform most normal motor functions without tiring out. The doctors decided around this time that it would be alright for her to return to her home.
At home, Kana had needed to get used to a new routine, which took a few days. Her father worked at home, so he was there to watch over her. Since her sister went to school everyday, Kana has started to long to go with her. After some preparations were made, she had started attending.
Being around a large number of people caused her alot of pressure at first, but eventually she got used to it. Her interactions with others were awkward at first but she managed to make a few friends. Even still, she was considered distant by many.
At one point, she started seeing a girl in her dreams as she slept, and after each of these dreams she awakened with a memory of the past. She kept this a secret from the others, however, and simply lived life as she was. Eventually she remembered a certain memory, a memory of seeing a girl attacking someone else with a bracelet, being noticed, then being attacked herself. She recognised the girl as someone from her class.
Kana confronted the girl about the event, but the girl simply tried using the bracelet against her again. This time, however, the bracelet combined itself with Kana, and the girl became defenseless. The girl was later arrested and the TSAB confronted Kana. After hearing the situation, Kana agreed to join the TSAB.
About:
The bracelet the girl used was a Lost Logia. The first time it was used against Kana, it killed her and created a replacement inside her body. Since the effect does not work against the replacements, for the second time it had instead combined with her, giving her an incredible amount of power. The girl was arrested for unlicensed possession of a Lost Logia, murder, and attempted murder. It is unclear how the girl got in possession of the Lost Logia in the first place.
The girl that Kana saw in her dreams was a fragment of the Kana that was killed. The memory of the time she was attacked was the last one she gave Kana, after which she was never seen again.
During the time when she attended school, Kana demostrated incredible capacity and speed for logical thought and deduction. Additionally, she was able to read people's faces and often knew how people felt at a glance. However, she had difficulty figuring out why the people felt the way they did and this caused her to become confused often. These abilities, however, made others around her often uncomfortable and created paranoia among some. The few friends she had made during that time still stuck by her.
After she combined with the Lost Logia, she was considered to be highly dangerous among the TSAB. In order to keep things under control, the TSAB made a deal with Kana so she would join the TSAB. She still has regular contact with her family, but had them know about the truth about what happened.
Even at the TSAB, the exact nature of Kana's magical capability was unknown, other than the fact that it was very high. Even without training, her fighting was very refined and she was able to defeat opponents while causing minimal physical damage.
Kana is able to go into a battle mode at will, gaining a barrier jacket-like armor and also metalic wings and a long, thin sword. Her wings are detached and are comprised of six pieces of metal-like substances. Each has two points at one open end which eventually combine at the other closed end. Kana uses these to attack at range, firing magical bolts from the open ends. They seem to be movable into nearly any position, but never go more than about a meter away from its user. They also tend to move in synchronization with each other.
For close range, Kana uses her sword, which is usable at both or one hand. She also often uses the sword to direct her ranged attacks with her wings. To get stronger attacks, she would point her sword in a direction and have her wings come together and rotate around the sword, all pointing together. The setup then shoots a single synchronized blast in the direction of her pointing.
Kana is quick, powerful, and effective at all ranges of combat, making her one of the top mages of the TSAB. However, she has yet to learn any proper Mid-childran or Neo-belkan magic and thus has no binding, elemental, or much else other than pure magical attacks.
To the TSAB, Kana is not classified to be a human.
Also from a game I designed. Kinda wierd, but also kinda boring.

You certainly made her superhuman. Mind boggling, can't really think of what challenge to give her. A bit like...

Assistance/Control Devices: adaptive technology Micromachines: Also known as Micronic Devices, these small scale machines are the source of David’s troubles, and also his new found abilities, bonding to him as a result of the destruction of the unconventional Control Device he had been exposed and fused to.
During a final battle with the nemesis of that Device, the rival Intelligent Unison Device ‘Morning Star’, that had possessed it’s wielder to complete it’s last assigned mission, (to destroy the Device that opposed it during the long past Belkan war), the Control Device David had found and become bound to was shattered. It was at this time that the reason the device could not be removed was discovered: it had fused itself onto his Linker core. When the device was shattered, however, so was the Linker Core it was attached to (as well as David’s right hand and forearm, reduced to little more than horrifically mangled bone and tissue). As a result, when the Administration Bureau recovered both participants, it was thought the Device totally lost, and likewise, David’s Linker Core and his access to magic. In fact, it sparked some debate on whether he could possibly survive, since no record of the complete destruction of a Linker core was known. However, such debate soon foundered, when it was discovered that not only was David at least functionally still alive, but that he inexplicably still possessed the ability to use the same magic abilities as when he possessed the Device (albeit manifested subconsciously at first), despite having no detectable Linker core. The Truth became apparent after his amputated Forearm and hand were replaced with a metal prosthetic form not attached, but grown into place, apparently another power he had gained. By pushing the sensitivity of Administration Bureau medical scanning technology to the limit, the source of these abilities was discovered. Just as David’s Control Device had shattered, so had his Linker Core, but all that meant was that he now possessed multiple smaller Linker Cores rather than one large one. Just as relevant, the fate of his Device was revealed: the remains of the Device had migrated into his body, where their recovery abilities had begun to re-engineer his frame. As a result, he had regrown his forearm and hand (albeit as a construct rather than biologically) and retained access to all his previous abilities, as well as gaining some new ones, for the simple fact of the matter was that whereas before he had wielded one Device, now he had millions, in the form of the tiny Micromachines that had formed his original Control Device, now existing symbiotically within his body, meaning the abilities incumbent within the myriad micro-scale Devices have been unlocked and even amplified to an unprecedented degree.
Choosing David due to his subconscious mechanical intuition and technological empathy, which prior to this point manifested only as a ‘knack’ for fixing things, the Micronics attached themselves to David as their primary host, using their abilities to rebuild and re-engineer his body almost from the ground up. As a result, he now has access to powers and abilities bestowed upon him both by direct control of the Micronic Devices and the alterations made to his body. Unlike the Nanotechnology used by some cultures, which consists of microscopically small tools designed for a single task, the Micronic Devices use technology comparable to Intelligent Device technology to form a hive network of individual Devices each with all the abilities of the group.
As a result, David now has the following documented powers (as logged by the Space Time Administration Bureau:
Technological Empathy and Mechanical intuition: Unlocked from dormancy and boosted to an incredible degree by association with the Micronic Devices, David can manipulate many technological items through thought alone. This allows contact with, though not control over, self-aware intelligent technological entities.
Altered physical form: properties of David’s body have been altered by direct genetic or biological alteration or by incorporation of technological or magical effects incorporated into his structure. He possesses increased physical strength and durability; an enhanced immune system bolstered by hunter-killer Micronics, the ability to regenerate and heal incredibly rapidly via Micronic reconstruction; improved senses, including possession of many senses he previously did not (and could not) possess; The ability to alter certain physical characteristics at will (for example, eye colour, hair colour, skin tone, gross morphology etc). The most obvious instance of this is his right hand and forearm, now replaced with a Micronically constructed prosthetic replacement, which nevertheless behaves exactly like a real biological hand, even including sensation.
Device Abilities: Based heavily on Midchildan Device technology, the Micronics can pool their effects to allow their user access to the power of their Linker Core, as well as means to guide and Control the power released this way. As a result, the User has the same powers he manifested when using the Original Control Device. These include energy manipulation, dimensional transference, telepathy/empathic ability, and others. Most particularly, the Control attribute of the Devices is keyed to Wave Motion Manipulation, and the wielder can exert control over almost any form of Wave phenomenon, including (but not limited to): electromagnetic, sonic, seismic, tidal, and even quantum mechanistic wave effects, including the wave-particle duality effects intrinsic in matter. Effects tend to manifest in a wide range of different colours dependant on the wave effects being manipulated, particularly in the case of visible light effects, however, for the most part, since most of it’s effects are wide spectrum attacks, most appear as a neutral grey colour, representing not only the combined visible spectrum’s presence, which is expressed as white light, but also the inclusion of many varieties of dark energy waves, which mix in to give the combined grey light.
Spoiler for long. specific info, and supplemental item info:
Advantages:
Powerful enhancement and protection of user
Extreme Versatility compensates for variable power throughput
Not wholly reliant on Linker core energies; Device can operate using harnessed environmental energy
Improved endurance due to use of additional environmental energy harnessing
Multi-Core system boosts power on demand using increased flow of vital energy
Cannot be restricted by standard Limiters
Weaknesses/flaws:
Lack of power compared to conventional Devices, and particularly Belkan Devices
Cannot be upgraded further
Multi-core design provides greater power draw capacity, but can place dangerous strain on user
Cannot be removed
Cannot be restricted by standard Limiters
Control Device: Grey Turmoil
Active property: Wave Motion Manipulation
Property type: Experimental type
Special programs:
Waveform analysis: analyses wave effects, provides weakness/counter suggestions
Wave Aura: forms aura of concentrated quantum mechanistic altered wave effects around body for protection when device is active.
Synchronicity: synchronises functions and energy levels with user. Always active.
Wave Absorption: the absorption of a proportion of environmental energies to bolster the user’s linker core and to assist in charging the secondary core. Always active at low intensity, can be accelerated in time of need, though this does lead to a characteristic cold, dark aura forming around the user as larger quantities of ambient electromagnetic waves (including thermal and visible light waves) are absorbed.
Wave Energy Manipulation/Construct: allows manipulation of quantum mechanistic principles to form quasi-solid artefacts from wave energies such as light waves. This can include shields, weapons, tools or anything else the user can imagine. Used to bolster dedicated offensive, defensive and evasive/mobility programs.
Wave-Particle Duality: allows manipulation of matter to limited degree by exploiting quantum mechanistic principles in their atomic structure. Can transmute matter from one form to another.
Active Defences:
Stasis Wave: disrupts local time, causes localised area where time is out of synch, removes civilians etc from local area while allowing normal action for mages and similar beings (basically a capture barrier effect)
Lightwave Armour: reinforcement to the standard barrier armour, surrounds user in form-fitting energy armour formed from focused wave energy. More resilient than Wave Aura, but also more demanding in terms of power to summon and maintain.
Protect Shade: Dark energy wave shield. Can repel and reflect some incoming attacks
Interference Zone: Close range spherical bubble disrupts some forms of energy
Wave Wall: wide area protection directional shield
Wave Scattering: cancels out some attacks
WaveGuide Redirect: allows reflection/redirection of attack bolts
Mobility/evasion:
Gravity Wave manipulation: allows flight
Standing Wave: quasi solid floating platform
Doppler WaveShift: allows supersonic movement
Spectral shifting: Optical camouflage ability
Blueshift: Lightspeed attack rush
Redshift: Lightspeed retreat rush
Attacks:
Tsunami: creates tidal waves in water
White Noise: sonic based shockwave attack
Seismic shockwave: field launched into ground creates linear earthquake front
Amplitude Spike: wave based beam attack
Pulse Laser: rapid fire visible light laser attack
Shockwave Pulsar: barrage of concussion shockwave projectiles
Resonance Shatter: feedback effect shatters shields or binds
Wave Motion Driver: as initials. Draws in and absorbs ambient wave energies across all spectra before discharging as destructive wave front blast (Play R-type or watch space battleship Yamato/Starblazers…) substantial charge-up and cool-down periods required.
WaveFront Collider-Shadow and Light: Concentrates Dark energy waves around left hand, and light energy waves around right hand, before forcing both hands together in a forced energy recombination, then striking a double handed blow to the enemy, releasing the contained power in a massive destructive energy release
Supplementary Device: Bronzion Hammer
Active property: Shockwave generation and propagation
Active form: Large heavy hafted dual faced mallet
Property Type: Developmental
Based on a design allegedly used on a much larger scale, this Device uses (apparently) proprietary Space Time Administration Bureau Technology to create Space Time shockwaves that reduce other forms of matter and energy to harmless motes of light. Troubles with power transmission and backlash to the user from energy back-siphonage and feedback left this device shelved, until testing on Bureau indentured prisoner David Brown revealed his Device Prosthetic right arm served both as insulation from backlash effects and as high efficiency power transfer medium for power requirements. Using his ability to absorb and channel environmental wave energy allows David to gather the necessary energy to use the device where other mages lack the power available because they are limited by their linker core’s throughput. Additionally, his ability to manipulate Wave motion phenomena allows him to ‘customise’ the generated shockwaves, turning a previously indiscriminate destructive weapon into a high versatility tool with multiple uses. Despite this, much like David himself, the use of this Device is heavily restricted by Bureau protocols, and requires multiple layers of Authorisation (Using his Technological empathy ability, David is known to be able to bypass these checks, though he has yet to ever show any desire to do so) , since the only limit on the potential Destructive power of the Device is the amount of power that can be channelled into the Device. Capable of energy levels and destructive potential at least rivalling Arc-En-Ciel.
Spoiler for long. recent history and background:
David has been placed under Bureau surveillance and is serving a sentence of indefinite indentured service with the Space Time Bureau as sentence for his possession of proscribed Devices, use of unlicensed magic on a non-aligned world, contact with Lost Logia, and other offences. Since his initial stint in custody, his only ‘free’ time has been a single short stretch during which he was allowed to return home, collect a few things, quit his job, say goodbye to his family, and generally place his affairs in order as best he could. Following this, he was placed in the Bureau supervision as what amounts to the role of a living weapon. He is kept imprisoned in highly insulated quarters to limit his potential power at any one time, and is released only in dire circumstances. This is because with no effective way to limit his access to power (since conventional Limiters can not be fitted to his device or himself), some feel he is a potential threat. This Treatment is not looked upon favourably by some elements in the Bureau, but the officers responsible have what amounts to a cast iron case for it’s retention. When deployed, he is officially commander of ‘mobile force thirteen’. This is because he is the only member in the unit. This serves the dual purpose of keeping him traceable and accountable at all times, and avoids having to issue another unit with the unlucky number (Triskadekaphobia being just as prevalent on Midchilda as on Earth).
Despite his ill-favoured treatment, David Stoically accepts everything the Bureau heaps upon him with no sign of disgruntlement, despite the outcries of others. It is thought this may be a reaction to guilt feelings over the fate of the other participant in the War relics case, still locked in a coma after throwing off the mental influence of the Dangerous Proto-Unison Device Morning Star through sheer willpower, in order to save David’s life. It’s also possibly a response to growing feelings of Dehumanisation as the changes wrought on his physiology take David further and further from human norms. It’s believed that David, while outwardly calm is trapped in a sequence of manic-depressive cycles that could, in theory, lead to serious mental instability.
Despite his attachment to the Bureau as a basically permanent accessory, David has not been deployed very often, either out of a fear of his potential, or a lack of necessity.
One incidence where he was deployed was the 8th Coastal Airport fire incident, where he was dispatched as an emergency disaster relief clerk. Assigned to the southern fuel depot and warehouse complex, he managed to extinguish the flames before the fuel complex was detonated by using his power over waves to summon a Tsunami to swamp the fire in that sector.
Before anyone says it, now I've read some of this forum, I notice some similarites with other peoples characters here. I actually wrote this before reading this, so maybe great minds do think alike. In particular, Kha's 'reactive Linker Cores' strikes me as similar, and Aurion has some similar traits.
As for the rest, some of the pieces are easy to trace, others are just words wrapped around a concept.
On the subject of Aurion, given his possession of a similar charateristic to my character, he too would probably able to wield the supplemental device if pushed.

... Max Steel here.
Another super DPS character. And a creepy Trump card to be kept under wraps at all costs, but I also left wondering how much of him is human? A bit like the Heero Yuy scenario, that's how'd I develop this war machine. While he blows things up, things happen in his brief contact with society that allows exploration of how much of him is him, and what is his reactions about it. Unfortunately, my Tomino-loving side always gets these kind of characters to be the ones to die while taking the whole world down with them.
The Reactive Linker Core is different from your nanite scattered variation, in that there's a very minute core, but the maximum boundaries of the Core is actually outside of the body, in a invisible mana rich field for as far as 50m in diameter. It is fluctuations in this field that gives Kha some of his abilities and weaknesses. And yes the idea started with a misread of X's fic, and after rolling down the hill look what it turned into.
Hmm what in this crate? *poke*
---New intelligence data updated---
These are Kha's new friends. I've successfully resisted the urge to kill them off, and so here they are alive and well in StrikerS, with a part to play in the refounding of the Holy Velka Nation of Saint Church. As they are not official TSAB officers, they do not have a rank other than the one given by the Church.
Traditional AVKs operate in 3 man cells called a "Trinity". Some modifications include an additional Confessor leader (Hayate's role) attached to a lead Trinity who is in command of 3 Trinity, as well as a Guardian Beast (Zafira's role) to each Trinity.
Sacred-commanders like Kha's mother take charge of 3 Confessors, there-in-by leading 9 Trinity. A Wing is made up of a Wing Commander in charge of 3 Sacred-commanders therefore is constituted by 27 Trinity.
The title Optimus is given to the best of the Trinity units, a bit like the Ace title granted to top agents of the TSAB.
Kha is the Left-Forward.
Spoiler for Right-Forward of 21st Trinity Optimus:
Name: Sophia Alexei
Alias: der Schimmer (The Glint)
Age: 18 (as of StrikerS)
Birthday: 29th Feb
Magic Rank: A+
Height: 169cm
Weight: 48kg
Hair: Long, chestnut brown but tied into two buns in bonnets like how some “Chinese“ girl characters have. Swaps it with ribboned pigtails sometimes.
Eyes: Blue. She’s blind, and in battle her Knight Armor includes a cyber scan unit over them.
Personality: 1 word- Tsundere. Headstrong, determined, abides by a strict code of conduct and often arguing with Artei. Often complains that Kha is too soft to be a Cleric-knight, and later complains that Sakura is too unruly. Does not seem bothered by her disability.
Usual wear: Informal Convent attire. Seldom wears anything else, and hence is often dragged around by Hayate to get “more normal” clothes.
Magic Type: Neo-Velka, Red.
Caster Class: Knight-sister
Brief Background
First appears as one of the younglings Kha was designated to evacuate. After burying her sisters at the Convent ruins, Sophia, along with the bulk of her batch moved to the Velka Special Administration Zone and resumed their training under the instructors at Saint Church. However, as much of the HAK doctrine was lost in the fire, the younglings received mostly combat training, with some religious teachings of the Saint Church, but the rest was up to what any of them could remember of their foundation classes.
Sophia did not give up. Determined to become a Knight-sister, she gave it her all and as more and more artefacts were recovered from the Ruin, the girl made sure she looked them over and memorized whatever there was to internalize. She received her New Velka Armed Device, Dauer, when she was 10.
After she become one of the first of the surviving Alexei younglings to achieve Knighthood when she turned 12, she was assigned by the Cardinals to the same Trinity as Kha and Artei after Tou’s passing and was reunited with her senior whom she regarded as her older brother. Despite that, she has a habit of pointing out his flaws, inviting more apologies and inciting more scoldings.
The trio have operated as a unit ever since, with the only break being when Kha’s shuttle en-route to MC got shot down by Black Army terrorists, when the Cleric disappeared while Sophia and Artei had their hands full assisting the TSAB Enforcer unit dealing with the sudden spike of red Velkanite smuggling. Later they would learn of Kha’s survival and that he would be operating off the Silvana until the mess he was involved in was resolved. Once the smuggling ring was busted, Artei and Sophia joined up with the Cleric once again.
No one knows this, but Sophia has grown rather fond of der Kleriker, and after being told of Kha’s near misses with death realized how much he meant to her, and was torn between her dream of being a Knight-sister, and being with him…
Spoiler for Center-back of 21st Trinity Optimus:
Name: Artei von Braunmühl
Alias: der Wirbelsturm (The Cyclone)
Age: 20 (As of StrikerS)
Birthday: 1 April
Magic Rank: A
Height: 175cm
Weight: 75kg
Hair: Short, unruly, spikey and white
Eyes: Red, sly-looking
Personality: Garrulous, cynical, a small time flirt, tends to and like to drive Sophia raving mad.
Usual wear: Anything goes. Often appears untidy, and may where the same thing for days in a stretch when not in a desert.
Magic Type: Neo-Velka, Green.
Caster Class: Wolkenritter
Brief Background
Born to a rich family, Artei lived a comfortable, spoilt life until his father decided to kick some spine into his son and threw him into the arms of the Saint Church’s Velka knight training program. But the boy was true-bred slacker and manipulator, pulling strings and working people around him to get by just barely, enough to achieve the rank of Knight and then beat the heck out of there. But his quick wits and ability to get himself out of any situation with the most ingenious of means caught the eye of Carim, who recommended him to the Cardinals to be assigned to a Trinity. And by sheer luck, he ended up with a pay rise, a happy father, and two of the “worst workaholics in the entire multiverse”, Kha and Sophia. He made the serious error of putting the moves on Sophia, who didn't take his tone of speech and soul vibes too well in the first place. He was, and still is, astounded by the degree of “teflonness” on Kha; none of his jokes seemed to stick, or even affect the boy more than just a forced laugh. And he whined and whined about anything and everything, hoping to drive his members nuts to send him back to HQ. And Sophia did lodge a complain, which Carim turned down as from the records the somewhat-dysfunctional group was “doing well”.
If there was one thing Artei loved to do, it was to fight. That Trinity got him into the thick of it, and thus the boy found his calling while wasting time to get out of the system. Kha was often game for his tactics, and both boys found amazing synergy with each other’s fighting styles. Sophia never stopped bickering with him over the smallest of details, but she slowly accepted him and his antics.
The time came when Artei was recalled to the Grand Church for the Knighting ceremony, and Kha and Sophia waited for the Artei’s replacement after which they would return to Velk. To their surprise…
~~~~~~
“Hyoo!”
“Artei?!”
“Got a present for ya, 141st Administrated World. There’s a well-defended facility you guys are gonna sting,” The lanky boy sauntered up and passed the sealed scroll to his ex-captain. “And I thought, ‘man those two metal-heads aren’t gonna last a second out there without my brains.’ And somebody cancelled my flight home so with nothing to do for the next few years I thought I’d might till some time.”
“We don’t need your concern, Artei!” Sophia protested while smirking.
“Welcome back pal.” Kha accepted.
Artei feigned surprise. “KHA! Do you know what you’ve just done?! You called me by another name!!! What has gotten into the world today?!”
“Who knows,” Kha beamed in his old calm manner.
And so the Velka Carryall surged into the night sky and bolted off at light speed on yet another adventure…
