Kotori can't receive power from herself. That would just be ridiculous; Shidou is the one receiving power from the fire seirei, only he doesn't even know about it until Volume 4. Itsuka Kotori IS the fire seirei, codenamed Efreet, wearer of Elohym Gibol, bearer of Camael. She's not even human anymore.

wait, if I remember correctly, the Ifrit is a really REALLY powerful spirit thats equivalent to a phoenix in myths, aside from its fact that it can TALK.
