At first I was thinking, "Noooo, they couldn't have killed off Erza," since maybe her death would progress Natsu's growth. Right now, Erza is always more powerful than Natsu by a long shot, and he might never catch up to her.

Then I thought, "Let's look at the intro and see if there were any indications for her survival." Then I saw her fighting some of the enemies that are supposed to be in the next arc. Phew, I was scared and sad there for a moment, but yeah, OP can really spoil a lot of things.

Gotta love this episode, and hoping for further development soon. Lucy needs to show us more of Leo.

Well I think Loki has not been in this due to him still needing to recover. Has been out of the spirit world for years so it'll take more than a few days to get back to 100%.

Spoiler for Ep 40:

Ok now this was a well done episode. The emotion was there and the fight looked great. The flow was even better than last time without pulling away for one of Natsu's 'cut-scenes'. Natsu really came through even though he put his body through hell actually eating that.

Simon's death was definitely more emotional here with the music and showing the young Erza next to him. Really feel bad for the guy even though he did step up at a critical time to protect Erza.
