Still interested in this for the red head alone but yea kinda agree character designs are now not exactly favorable than from before.
The ones from the Megami scans sold the characters for me but obviously it's difficult to keep high standards for anime these days.
Hoping the male lead will be different from what vibes he gives me, kinda put in the same league as whats his name from Asobi ni Iku Yo.
