Interesting first episode.
This show actually makes me think of Tari Tari a lot more than it does Steins;Gate. The only parts that really made me think of Steins;Gate was that "time listing" at the very beginning (

so is this taking place in a worldline that's
not around any more?
) and the very ending because loli-girl gave me a vague time traveler vibe.
But our main duo and their attempts to win over a crusty female teacher just
screams Tari Tari to me, and that's a good thing!
First of all, Aki is like a DBZ fusion of Tari Tari's Konatsu (her general attitude) and Wien (her love of flashy heroes and the way she expresses it). I honestly like to think of these two kids as the daughter of Konatsu and Wien, and the son of Sawa and Tanaka.
Anyway, for successfully reminding me of one of my favorite anime shows of 2012, I'll be sticking with this show. This first episode may have been a bit slow, admittedly, but I think the show has potential.
