Typesetters:

Essentials: An excellent grounding in ASS/SSA override commands.

Nice to have: Ability to use AFX to do replacement signs for typesetting.

Karaoke Artists:

Essentials: An excellent grounding in ASS/SSA override commands. Impecable \k timing skills. A knowledge of a variety of styles for karaoke and using them appropriately.

Nice to have: Ability to romanise kanji. Ability to "kanji-ise" romanji.

Encoders:

Essentials: A good background knowledge of AviSynth and filters, know appropriate use of filters, ability to hit an exact file size consistently, knowledge of both XviD and AVC encoding (not just using vdub.)

Nice to have: European based

Translator:

Essentials: High level of fluency in japanese: both spoken and written.

Nice to have: Yes!

Editor

Essentials: "This sentence structure is correct." This one is "bizarre,"; and the word gotten only exists in the American English dictionary.

Excellent fluency of written english, must maintain flow of script while (whilst) restructuring. Excellent standard of spelling and grammar.

Know when something in a script is just plain wrong (intuition - scary word!).

Timer

Essentials: Ability to time a standard script (up to 300 lines) within 2-4 hours. Ability to scene time. High level of accuracy: check your work!

Translation Checker:

Essentials: A good standard of fluency in written and spoken japanese. Our current translaton checker is capable of translating 80-90% of a given anime - use that as a benchmark if you will. I'm looking for someone capable of holding conversation in japanese which would probably account for the ability to translate 50% upwards of a given anime.
