What hints were there that Heartseed wanted something from them? I've only read up to Kako Random, but I haven't seen anything noteworthy (though I agree that he is a LOT nicer than No. 2).

There were two (or was it three?) scenes of Heartseed conversing with No.2 (he didn't do anything here, but nevertheless, yes... he's back...
) in Yume Random. And then there are those scenes where Heartseed appears and converse with Taichi.
And no... I refuse to say anything about that cliffhanger until there are more news about the final arc... you don't wanna know about it if you value your sanity... it drives me nuts. Like, "ARRRRGGGGGHHHH *head desk* *pulls hair*" nuts.
