Really? How does it translate to 'trash' exactly? Or is it a word play on 安 (i.e. 'cheap') ?
Anyways, I don't think it's a good idea to speculate if the name really was Yasuda or Yasu as it seems like some kind of obvious troll.
At the very least it's no coincidence or accident that Ryukishi chose that name. Although there's no reason why he *couldn't* just use it...
