The hints are there but they arent clear unless you look for them granted most of them can be interpreted both sides if you want to. You're point can be interpreted as what you said but its not clear that she's fully awake she may be mumbling in her sleep. Perspective is the key.
Make no mistake i am a fan of Rui over hina but the hints are there.
