At least with Gen on-board, I don’t have to worry too much about this becoming another
Eureka 7 AO, Aquarion EVOL, Guilty Crown or
Gundam AGE (storywise). And the mechas won’t be as retarded as in
Code Geass’ (giant robots that can slide fast and climb using only side-wheels on their feet
).
I think this
Gargantia and
Unicorn will be my last hope for decent mecha animes.
Robotics;Notes does not count since it's not really from mecha genre.
