So I got around around to reading Chapter 1 and...

...the romance between Ein and Angelina was pretty sappy, as was the showdown at the space port. It's cool that Treize had a good reason for having Septum killed in GW though. I'm also interested to see what happens to Van.

I don't see myself ever warming up to Heero being frozen but the story has had been fairly interesting so far.
