All we really learn about Precia's husband is from the novel.
And it isn't much, not even a name.
She was married in her twenties and had her kid somewhere in her late twenties or early thirties.
Then after a year or two Alicia was born, they divorced.
You'd think there would be more details but there isn't from what little I read of the novel.
