That was surprisingly awesome. The art was really interesting, and that music is embedded in my SKULL.
I like Hajime a lot for a lot of the same reasons everyone else has mentioned: she just takes it all in, and says "Cool!" a lot. I can see that some people may find her intensely annoying. (Viewers aside, her coworkers may not warm up to her so easily.)
The MESS are a little on the bland side, in that a Rubik's Cube doesn't really fill me with dread, unless it's full of IRS agents, or rabid grizzly bears, or rabid grizzly bear IRS agents.
Are they just going to pay Hajime in notebooks? I think she'd be cool with that. >_>a
Also, eyebrows!
