Didn't Gray knew Ul had a daughter? So if he knew he should put it together that she looks like her mom after she grew up. Interesting how he is enemy number 1 for Meldy. Oh man awesome how strong Juvia really is when its concerns Gray, even Erza mentioned it.

Oh, Gray knew Ul had a daughter. He just assumed Ul's daughter was dead because Ul did (must be quite a story there). So he wouldn't automatically believe she was someone he firmly believed for ten years to be dead.
