Well, they can put in more details that were left out from before if they re-do the anime adaptation.
I read the Light Novels after watching the anime and what I found while reading the Light Novels, is that the anime left out a lot of details. Some of them being crucial for the characters.
For me, one of the vital details the anime left out, is Cecilia's background.
Even though they showed the part of Cecilia taking a shower after her match with Ichika, they didn't really portray her background. All the anime shows is her thoughts about Ichika... That's it.
When compared to the Light Novels, there's
a lot more to it. It tells Cecilia's reason for being an IS pilot. What motivates her, what drives her. And why she has this "superiority complex"...
Virtually all of the things that were left out of the anime in that specific part.
