I usually give series about 5 episodes to get a true feel if I like it or not (sometimes, 3 is enough on the shorter series), and it will still be the same case with this series. However, I feel that, in general, most series sets the premise for that series pretty well in their first episode. Also, just because I don't think the first episode is well done does it mean that the series will end up bad. It means just that... that the first episode is not well done.
On a different note, I just finished watching
Suki-tte Ii na yo, and the animation quality between that show and this is night and day. If this show had the same animation quality, it would definitely add more appeal to the show. And this show is supposed to be higher profile, too. It makes me wonder what is going on.
