lol I wanted to post a topic about this. And there it was a topic <3

it is one of the best mecha I read so far.

Every chapter leaves you wondering whats gonna happen next. The mangaka sure knows how to bring a cliffhanger.

I have nothing but praise for this manga. I was hesitant about reading this manga because it is mecha. I usually despise mecha, but break blade surprised me to no end. A must read for everyone I guess.

It has a relationship chart that is unique to manga/anime. Well non-h manga/anime that is.

Spoiler for my take on the unique relationship:

The relationship is between the four friends. Lygatto(the main character) Hozul(the king) Shigwen(the queen) and Zesu(their enemies' commander)

Although I the unique part is the relationship of the three people... Between Lygatto, Shigwen and Hozul. They were best friends along with Zesu since they were still at school. Shigwen is married to Hozul... But, it is obvious she has a thing for Lygatto, shown in chapter 1 and when a general saw her happy when she was looking at Lygatto and even commented on it. Hesitating to put on her wedding ring on the latest released chapter.

I would like to see how the author keep the 3's friendship intact if and when Shigwen decides to leave Hozul for Lygatto without it being distasteful.

And the other relationship is how will he resolve the war and fighting between friends.

All I can say is that the character development is what shines in this manga.
