No backtracking, it is the same thing, Keima has been succesful so far because he found that the parameters used in his games did applied in real life, but now he is in a situation that no matter how he looks at it, it has never been portrayed in his games.

There are plenty of adults IRL that behave like kids, but they do have the knowledge only an adult can have, outside of the movie BIG with tom hanks I cannot think of another example of a real kid trapped in the body of a real adult.
As I said before, I do believe Keima will acomplish his task, but he does not require to conquer Urara to do so.
