Character Statistics:
Pilot Name: Shura Gordievsky
Nickname: The Red Star
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: Quite a short girl for her age and nationality, standing at a modest five feet, five inches tall. In accordance, she is built slimly, nearly to the point of being obviously frail in outward appearance, though in reality, she can pack a heavy punch. She sports a lighter brown hair that falls well past her shoulder blades, and sits in a slightly disheveled style. Her most prominent feature however is her tied hair strands atop her head which sit miraculously without falling. Her eyes are colored a starry blue, gleaming bright in any light pattern or lack thereof. They convey a mischievousness to her complexity, and her frequent half-smiles only further hinder her trustworthiness, even to good friends. She wears her uniform more often than not, feeling a sense of honor and duty with wearing the standard gear. Being trained so heavily in the military can do that to a persons view on reality. She finds little in personal clothing as such, but has no qualms over any sort of uniform; revealing or not, so long as it is the standard. Shura lacks a very prominent bust, and takes it quite badly when others take note of it.
Personality: Shura is a cold-hearted, steel-fisted, go-getting girl who doesn't take no for an answer. The only times she allows a no is when her response is one of physicality. She is a tough girl, never afraid to duke it out despite her real heavy experience; though nonetheless, she will likely give anyone trouble with her persistence. Shura is one to be easily flustered, even on the most trivial thing or mistakes. She hounds others on everything, and nearly acts like a drill sergeant in essence. As stated before, she doesn't take her physical appearance well, and those who instigate such a response tend to face her fists and kicks of fury. She has no sense of personal space or privacy, calling it meaningless in the long run to mull over trivial things. When in her serious, un-angered mode, she dictates herself with an air of militaristic dignity and self-restraint, though the latter is very little.
History:
Affiliation: Russia
IS Statistics:
Name: Iron Curtain MPIS
Model Number: 549
Shipped to: Moscow, Russia
Pilot: Shura Gordievsky
Combat Focus: Speed/Hit-and-Run
Weaponry:
Melee Weapon 1:
Laser-Tether Claws-
Iron Curtains main CQC weapon is a pair of four-fingered cage-like claws housed as the IS very hands. They are quite adept at snaring enemies and preventing escape, as well as possessing the capability to administer a shield-degrading shock to the captured opponent. The weapons are connected when deployed by an energy tether, allowing their reach to extend far beyond a conventional solid tether chain. These claws can withstand other IS' melee weapons as well, defending from laser-sword strikes and the like. Their main weakness is that if deployed, an instance in which they miss can flaw Iron Curtain, as they must be retracted to use again.
Melee Weapon 2:
Laser Rapier-
Iron Curtain houses a single Energy Rapier on its hip, which can be deployed extremely quickly. While its power in cutting or striking is low, its speed and lightweight form allow for speedy slashes and stabs. This weapon is usually held in tandem with its only ranged weapon.
Medium-Range Firearm:
Dual-Barrel T-SMG-
Iron Curtains staple fighting crop. The TSMG is a single structure firearm that sports two barrels for double the fire rate and fire power. Despite its apparent complexity and inefficiency, the TSMG fires a literal wall of extremely accurate bullets towards its enemy. It's magazines are belt fed, and the barrels use a high-heat resistant material that can keep firing for minutes on end. It is very hard to dodge these bullets forever, but the small caliber prevents any real major damage from a single bullet.
Structural Stats: Iron Curtain is a lightweight IS, and as such, sports lower-class armor. On the flipside however, it inherently allows Iron Curtain to move at incredibly fast speeds, even compared to a melee-based fighter. It has additional boosters on its sides and back that further give it an edge in aerial combat and weapon avoidance. But again, its armor and shielding i poor, so what is usually a fairly weak bullet can be a powerful hindrance to Iron Curtain.
Gadgets: Side boosters, back boosters, and an increased anti-gravitational projector field. Iron Curtain can skate across land, air, and sea with ease, and is structurally configured to be both aero and hydrodynamic. Yes, in fact, Iron Curtain can keep its pilots alive in aquatic environments.
