The moment Chaos told you he was telling the truth, (( and for all his playfulness, his is an honest guy, even if not always straight to point )) of course you've been misled.
But it's just about as misleading as Fate having
something to tell Nanoha (( which we never knew is what )) and we, the audience never getting the opportunity till this day to know exactly what that
something was. Or those blushes thrown by Yuuno and Nanoha to one another when they met, (( which once again, doesn't neccesarily mean anything, since well, Yuuno's Yuuno and Nanoha throws blushes like cotton candy to the point it's infectious. ))
