I think that more than being difficult, the game was just extremely demanding.
That is, if you didn't play some scenarios
by the book (i.e: with previous knowledge of the events or a guide) you were bound to get into trouble for one reason or another.
I am all for strategy in my games, and I really dont mind having a time/card limit imposed on every stage; But dammit, they really need to increase the number of cards you are able to use in some places.
