They should've written Mahouka fic instead.
My reasoning of going back to I.S. was because I just watched Four Rhythm recently. That show is basically the ideal Mirrorverse from Icchan's POV, no harem and toxic romance comedy, just friendship and rivalries.
She's not going to like I.S. canonverse at all.
