Not necessarily. Ranged attacks on him, even bullets, do not return with the exact same path as they were shot at him.
I have two theories about that. If the auto-reflection works like a mirror, then there are many possible angles for the return fire (since Accelerator is not a flat and ever perpendicular surface)
The other could be taking wind and friction into consideration. A sniper has to adjust for that, but Accelerator wouldn't care. So with the distance being essentially double, the reflected attack will have double the natural deviation.
In either case, I would bet it was more luck what saved Mikoto, not a conscious effort from Accelerator to miss her.
