well, I quite enjoyed 2.0/2.22. Even though I have to say I fully agree with Reckoner and everything he said. You're NOT alone, buddy.
<-- lol pun
Major changes I disliked: Tsundere Asuka, and happy Rei... 'nuff said.
anyway, I wonder what will happen next, since:
Spoiler for from wiki, and to make my post shorter:
Regarding the future of the Rebuild films, while it is certain that Kaworu Nagisa is one of the remaining Angels it is uncertain whether adaptations of old Angels or entirely new Angels will be seen in 3.0 and beyond. Much debate has hinted that the unique Evangelion Mark. 06 itself might be one of the remaining Angels but this remains a mystery. It is unclear if Gendo's lines in 1.0, "We must defeat the remaining 8 Angels", which was said while Ramiel was attacking, included the (then) still captured third Angel. Logic seems to dictate that since the Angel was (at the time) already under NERV's control it seems impractical Gendo would include the Angel in his countdown, but conversely, hints present in 2.0 indicate Gendo, with Kaji's help, may have triggered whatever it was that set the third Angel on a rampage and lead to its ultimate defeat. If Gendo did include the third Angel in his countdown, then including Kaworu there remains only one undesignated Angel left in the Rebuild franchise. If Gendo did not, then Rebuild may very well still have two unidentified Angels left. Of course no matter how many chronological Angels are left to defeat, it is still a certainty that the first Angel and the second Angel, Lilith, will also play a huge role in Rebuild's climax.
so, with only 2 (or at least 1) angels remaining, Adam and Lilith are going to play a major role, uh? mmhh... interesting, I'm curious to see how this will turn out. let's wait and see.
ah, and I was wondering, who will pilot Unit-08... Kaworu, Mari? any idea?
