The plot was given to you in ch 1. It tells you whats its about. If your looking for something thats completely plot driven you should avoid dragon magazine stuff. Dragon magazine is basically one up from Jump. He has them as friends because he can't make female friends now can he. Plus it seems hes sorta a little dull in the head. Still too early to tell.
