The following comment about the first episode is only for people who've already played the D.C. II game or who are thoroughly familiar with its story. DO NOT read (yet) if you are actively following my Yume plot summary (you can read it after reading part 5 of the summary, once it's up).

I've alluded to this before (and hopefully people reading this already got what I meant), but I strongly suspect that the reason for Yume's attitude in the first episode has to do with the dream sequence that opened the episode. Although Koko said that she dreamed about confessing, I strongly suspect that the dream Yoshiyuki saw was not Koko's dream, but actually Yume's premonition of the future. They were careful to point out that that the confession was exactly like the dream. This explains why Yume seemed particularly agitated about Yoshiyuki that day, why she had to collect herself before knocking on his door, why she was staring at him through the nurse office's window, and so on. I think those were signs that she knew what was going to happen. Obviously I have no proof of that, but it seems to make sense to me. We'll see if they bring it up again or not.

Unfortunately, I think the people who'd benefit the most from this possible perspective are the people who are hastily dismissing Yume as a simple Nemu clone, and they won't fall under the category that can read this spoiler. Frustrating!
