Except so many people found Nisemonogatari's incest scene so perfect, and I doubt that many people are only children.
Hell, I'M an only child and I personally hated that episode on the whole. I'd recommend viewing humanity as just "having weird tastes" in general. Everyone's got some weird tastes.
