Makes sense to me: I can see a lot more people watching the show at a Thursday afternoon (17:30) than late Saturday morning (10:30). In fact that's exactly what happened to me when I was a kid since those were the exact two running times for Dragon Ball back then: me and most of my friends would watch it on weekdays instead of weekends.
