I can see your point. I also prefer to download unliscenced anime, and I like bit torrent.. But I also noticed that companies are liscencing a lot of anime because of it's popularity. I just think that it's because it got so popular that it's that way. But when I think of it, bit torrent isn't that popular. There is still a lot of people who download from file sharing programs ..
Besides, you can find really old unliscenced anime on some programs like Direct Connect. You can find anything online if you know where to look ... That's why if I want to find a liscenced anime, which is rare, I use a program like that.
