What U.S. Divers... lol... mostly the divers are formed with refugees from other countries that want in on the U.S. for their families sake. Welcome to the land of Freedom, sign here first to join the mobile infantry... Sure they provide the equipment... so long as you provide the bodies...
That being said, the US does provide a shit load of equipment to all the front line countries, everything from F-4s to F-15s and F-16s, A-6s and A-10s. They also supply the space force and SHADOW, so they do their part. Its just that their heavy handedness rubs other countries the wrong way, as they think that due to the supplies they should have a say in the countries running, ignoring the bodies that are spent.
The whole Provenience Project was to share ideas for the next generation of TSFs that fight the BETA. They could have sent the YF-23 for the benefit of the project as a whole, but as you said, they are looking out for number 1. The project became a dick slapping contest anyway, with everyone out to prove that their current TSF is the best, which is why the F-22 and the SU-37+Loli's Inside were sent there.
