SERN made their move only when Okabe and others decided to make their invention public, so my guess is now since he knows that SERN is watching and listening to them he will reverse that decision and continue with the experiments. Hopefully SERN will decide not to make their move and giving Okabe enough time to think how to get out of this mess. I can't bear to watch Mayuri die for too long T__T
