Most light novels will get translated to English once anime aired. I'm quite sure not many cared about the likes of IS and Itsuka Tenma no Kurousagi until anime aired (there were already translation, but the pace was really slow, then it got 10x boost once anime aired).
Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?, Hidan no Aria and Chrome Shelled Regios seem to be exceptions though.
