Nagi's a very unusual heroine. In a lot of ways she's intentionally designed to be different then you'd expect from a stock romantic comedy. And that's fine with me, but different strokes and all.
Still, I think you underestimate how many people do like Nagi, casually or otherwise. She's consistently been the third favorite character (by pretty narrow margins) for pretty much the entirety of the manga. That's actually not bad at all, considering. People like rooting for underdogs and the main heroine in most romcoms has it rough, comparitively.
