Wow, I just got hit by a sudden wave of Koichoco thoughts and analysis so I thought I'd put some of them down. All anime correlated, direction based, and not altered by any game knowledge.
Spoiler:
Most of the time I looked at the story from a Yuuki perspective. What I did not notice is how the directing has uniquely crafted aspects of other characters. I'll be more specific.
While I can't predict the ending I do want to predict at least imminent possibilities.
First off, episode 7 ended with Chisato checking on the drunken Hazuki. We have Yuuki still in the girls' dormitory. And we have Michiru looking out into the night (and I have no idea what this is inferring).
Anyhow, other than Chisato advances, I did not even once think about her perspective. What do we see her notice at the end of episode 7? Yuuki escorted Hazuki back to the girls dormitory room. While Chisato can understand Yuuki's kindness in that respect, you would think she would wonder what the heck he has been doing. So what possibilities arise?
A) Yuuki drank, partied, or hung out with Hazuki
B) Yuuki found her drunk
C) Something else
While B is what happened, then even if Chisato deduces it, naturally she'd wonder why Yuuki found Hazuki dead drunk in the first place. Sure the truth was that Yuuki noticed Hazuki drinking at the courtyard after going to the toilet, but unless Chisato knew this fact, she could probably speculate much worse. However, depending on what Yuuki does at Satsuki's place, regardless of whether not he stays over or does go back to Yume or not if the next morning happens, Yume would probably know if Yuuki was out, or came back really late from the toilet. In other words, a suspicion of "what did you do last night Yuuki!?" or "Where were you!?" (Compound this with the fact that already in episode 3 Chisato noticed he's hiding things from her, considering she went to visit him at his room that night back then and he's clearly not there.)
Then there's another thing: If the next set of events (for episode 8 content) are to happen all in the same night in Satsuki's room (such as shogi, since that was very clearly shown), then that means Hazuki would sober up and "truth" occurs (probably something within the Shinonome family since it has nothing to do with Yuuki specifically) since you see in the preview that the Shinonome sisters obviously have another talk. So if all these events are during the same night, where Chisato didn't exactly fall asleep, wouldn't she notice Hazuki isn't in the girls dorm room or left the room (again lol)? (If this is done over the course of different nights then completely ignore this point. But if this indeed is done over the course of consecutive nights it would be even easier for Chisato to notice the consistent nightly run and have further suspicion something is going on.)
Regardless of what happens, there is a generic fact: Chisato doesn't know what exactly is going on, but figures something is going on. Cue in generic suspicion the next morning like "where have you been?!" (This is also compounded by the fact that Yuuki won't tell her things straight, whether it's the relationship with the Finance Commissioner, or the open air bath scene. This is much different than Satsuki who forced the truth out of Yuuki this most recent episode.)
I don't know what are the next sequence of events, but something like this is probably predictable on these facts alone. Regardless of however Satsuki's route pans out or what they do at night, no matter what happens, there's a next morning so there's probably a club meeting. SOMETHING would probably happen (I have no idea). But something like "Yuuki, what happened last night!? (I noticed you brought back a drunk Hazuki!)" isn't exactly out of the question. Not to forget this is after the open air bath event where Yuuki hesitated on responding to her you would think Yuuki is obviously hiding things from Chisato. Although Satsuki's night event is quite critical, Satsuki also has nothing to do with Yuuki's morning related activities with the club, in the advent the next episode shifts to the next morning or something.
As a Satsuki contrast, notice how Satsuki was pretty forceful, but really direct on having Yuuki tell her the truth about Hazuki? I'm sure Chisato has similar suspicions (but doesn't know about the Hazuki drunk kiss thing either) and Satsuki is the only one Yuuki admitted this to as to why he cares so much for Hazuki. Now Satsuki has information Chisato does not. If Chisato is going to be suspicious about something going on, there's plenty of reasons to believe so. Actually Chisato doesn't really have information what goes on between him and any other girl character in a sense (except maybe Mifuyu, who set herself aside to favor Chisato anyways).
Speaking of Mifuyu, there's another aspect with Mifuyu that I didn't pay enough attention to. While the Isara finger sucking scene was for amusement, it has a great undertone, despite being a small thing. At first I didn't notice Mifuyu during that scene looked at Chisato twice in concern. The idea was obviously the misinterpretation: "oh shoot Yuuki is doing something with another girl (or vice versa since Isara initiated it) that will make Chisato go nuts" which sort of happened. Sure they realized the actual event was a normal one, but hey they wouldn't know what is going on in the kitchen. Imagine if they were making out or something (which as visually portrayed, did display an equivalent amount of chaos, from mere finger sucking). We can't say Yuuki likes Isara or vice versa, but there's no denying they're happy to be friends and have each other's positive presence.
Also Chisato doesn't know about Yuuki appearing grinning happy when seeing Isara individually. Mifuyu does know.
1) Yuuki was clearly grinning after smelling Isara in episode 4. Completely not paying attention to the funding conversation.
2) Yuuki was clearly reminiscing the finger cut accident and how Isara opened her mouth to mend the damage.
If took an analogy, if some accidentally ecchi event happened between Yuuki and Chisato, Yuuki would be like "gyah what the heck!?" but if it's with Isara (or Satsuki, but there's no evidence in the anime per se) it would be like "whoah" or "ooh" despite showing restraints, as he is commonly seen doing to retain decency.
So yes, while there's no indication whatsoever of Yuuki liking Isara whatsoever, it's really clear he's generally happy to see her, and goes as far as reminiscing the small grinning inducing event because he is a boy. Now, if Chisato had more information or saw this, even though there's no indication of actual liking or dating, would go nuts in a fashion she did from the finger sucking thing. The finger sucking thing was forgivable because of bleeding, but the smelling event? Oh man, not the same result. What's ironic is that Chisato has been shown to be a very reasonable person in this show, exhibiting tolerance, intellect, leadership and beauty, all strong points.
Although Mifuyu was just as surprised on the finger sucking event (but not as nuts, since she's not Chisato), since she knows about Yuuki being happy seeing Isara during the big festival with jokes about fateful meetings when Isara was assigned to help Yuuki's campaign, of course Mifuyu's concerns for Chisato would rise, as Chisato does NOT know this or much interpersonal communication. (Chisato met Isara generically on two occasions, with mostly normal conversation) However, there's no awareness of interpersonal 1 on 1 communication, which only Mifuyu has directly seen. I mean while Mifuyu knows there's no relationship, the fact that she wants Yuuki to get along with Chisato better, of course seeing Yuuki happy seeing this kouhai that admires him would seem like something undesired.
Then there's even a Hazuki undertone I didn't even notice. By having Hazuki 100% relevant in things that bother Satsuki, by also being there at the Isara finger sucking event, Hazuki has seen all the girls and most club antics at least once and can probably muster some kind of preference chart or get a clue. In other words, she has tons of information and can probably see the bigger picture, as the other girls lack information on something.
Hazuki also knows directly from Yuuki that he and Chisato are not going out. Hence she can do something like taunt Satsuki and making Satsuki believe there's some special relationship between Hazuki and Yuuki. Geez, if Satsuki knew (and probably does) that Yuuki hangs out with Chisato (and Mifuyu) everyday and are a solid team, she probably could easily think of the possibility that Yuuki and Chisato are dating, similar to Hazuki's inquiry from episode 3. However, Satsuki is generally nowhere near the vicinity of Yuuki. There hasn't even been a Satsuki and Yuuki interaction with Chisato actually even being remotely nearby. It's all 1 on 1 interactions.
Heck the fact that she knows a lot of things that are going on (whether it's plot or characters) is amusingly also hidden through her drunk behavior as well.
This is the contrast I mean by Hazuki having information that Chisato and Satsuki do not have. This is also how I found it shocking how the small interaction between Isara and Yuuki that Mifuyu saw was somehow relevant.
In a way, if there's 10 things about Yuuki interactions with girls to know about, Hazuki knows like 8 of them, while Chisato and Satsuki knows like 3 of them each (mutually exclusive too), while Mifuyu knows 1. This doesn't even factor in Michiru following Yuuki around back in episode 3 which nobody knows about!
(Heck I can probably even add that the Isara bullying Chisato and Mifuyu don't have the full picture of since only Yuuki saw a glimpse of the direct problem earlier in episode 4 and then saw big light/darkness on just how bad the undertone is which Satsuki was trying to get him to notice.)
For instance (on the information differential on just interactions with girls alone):
1) Chisato and Mifuyu don't have any Satsuki interaction information (particularly Mifuyu). Chisato could probably guess something friendly is going on, having seen Yuuki's happy interaction with the Finance Commissioner in say episode 3 (and even then the conversation was clearly more on election cheering but he looked grinning happy anyways since Chisato KNOWS Satsuki is pretty/smart/capable/etc).
2) Satsuki doesn't have full information on interactions in the club, and definitely doesn't have information on Yuuki's interactions with Isara. (Ironically some of the core points she pointed out to Yuuki are completely indirectly of assistance to Isara the more knowledge he grasps on the situation.)
X) I guess Isara and Michiru don't really matter in this case. They're just there, lol.
Satsuki's situation are all Shinonome family related, so any antics going on the club she doesn't actually know about (other than a vague idea of what they do).
However, Hazuki has seen just about all of it. Heck, even though Michiru hasn't been emphasized I wouldn't be surprised if she has a clue in on what her route hints (or maybe this is just Yakumo specific, not Hazuki), but the bullying incident she has total awareness of.
(tl;dr Hazuki knows not only the core school problems, but also knows what goes on this little club too. Has affiliation with like, everything, despite all the beer drinking undertones.)
All of this and this is just on mere communication. This isn't even flirting or dating, just normal interaction between Yuuki and female character.
Another way to think of it is that these are things that get Yuuki's attention that aren't election related. Chisato and the club have worked their butts off, but Yuuki's doing other things as well. Of course he's being Mr. Good Guy by keeping election priorities straight, but he is also encountering situations and resolvable events that are more or less out of his control (ex: Satsuki's upcoming events).
... generically in terms of the elections if Chisato is suspicious about something and Yuuki is hiding it I suspect the possibility of internal club turmoil for whatever reason. That's just my thoughts. Maybe not that extreme, but there will be SOME kind of speed bump I'm anticipating.
All of this and this doesn't even factor problems in the school, the election, or the chocolate. Geez, this is merely love correlated which hasn't even blossomed yet.
Of course likewise, all of this might not even matter. But I was amazed just how much the show has integrated so many different things, all during an election, which has been the core focus. I am thoroughly impressed and am liking this series the more I think about it. Wow!
(I could be wrong on many points, but it certainly showed me the things the anime has presented does have more underlying tones than what is initially presented. It's so easy to overlook it.)
Maybe this is why episode 1 started the way it did: to show that this underlying tone on things in general would end up quite critical (rather than happy club antics). Huge emphasis on "truth" or like, "hidden things going on", among other general themes.
With that said, I'm really excited for episode 8 and what's next to come!
