To make everything clear once and for all,
Story Synopsis is something which introduces a novel. At best it tells something about the 1st volume. Consider this as a short story-lineup which is written on the back side of a book when you go to stores for buying an English Novel. You can get the gist from it and then you decide whether the book is to your liking or not.
You can read the
synopsis on the series' page on BT.
Summary will be more elaborate mentioning all the important incidents and characters that make up the whole volume. I will be more exhaustive then the synopsis.
More like a plot summary.
