Other than cutting out a lot of inner dialogue (the relay race of happiness which really, really, really made me roll my eyes), Ryuuji watching Taiga and Kitamura from a distance a lot and having complicated feelings inside, switching the locations of some scenes, most of the physical events were there. I think?
