But I suspect that Sei and Reiji are not fighting Yukki the 3rd Meijin, but the 2nd Meijin who seemed to have hijacked Yukki's mind with the help of that institute.

Another thing is that even though it's minor but the added getup that Yukki is wearing in his Meijin looks like something the the 2nd Mejin would wear.
